This book sometimes was a bit confusing, but always held your interest..it wasn't until late in the book that you really begin to understand and grasp the true meanings of the many metaphors. A great spiritual guide...hard to always remember and put into practice the main lesson, but its important we try.

This book has lots of good songs. Bass clef is a little too simple, but because there are guitar chords above the melody it is possible to fill in your own harmony. The book has two treble clefs, which makes for a lot of page turning. I prefer one treble and one bass with smaller print for less pages per song. I think guitar chords above a melody need to be more exciting to enhance and also aide in the understanding and dynamics of a good song to shape simple harmony. Sometimes just one note can make a difference and still remain easy to play and sound more advanced. Spiral bound it is not. Still in search of that perfect book.........

I love this book. It's loaded with good songs, and the arrangements are great. For an intermediate player like me, they are complex enough to be interesting yet totally playable. I'm glad I bought it.

Excellent Illustrated overview

Worthy addition to the LIR series. As a clinician who deals with aberrant mitotic cells I was looking for a book which would provide me with a quick & easy overview of the field. I wish I had this book when I was in med school. It nicely complements the classic LIR Biochemistry. Easy to read and profusely illustrated.

A great book! But for medical school? I hope not.

I purchased this review book to help me study for my Cell and Molecular biology class and it did just that, it was a great review book. It carries the most important points, in a small amount of detail, with great pictures so you can begin to see the activity of a cell as a whole.

It served its purpose for me but, on a tangent, I can't imagine how this is a suitable review book for medical school. The biochemistry lippincott's sure, that thing has 500 pages packed with detail. This one is not nearly as detailed as the lippincott's biochemistry review.

It's a great review tool for undergraduate courses. For medical school, which these are often used for, it might be great too but I'd like to think anyone in medical school knows the amount of cell and molecular biology contained in this book cold.

Really nice concise intro to cell & molecular biology and at the same time a review. It's great for engineers who are willing to delve into these and related subjects but are scared of the large volumes of other books.
